This is a really big day…
For years I’ve watched Scott prepare for his trips with the Bible League…not just the packing, the paperwork, the usual things you have to do when you get ready to take a really long journey…but sort of getting his mind ready to wrap it around everything he knew he was about to see and do and learn. Getting ready to soak it all in and bring it all back to those of us who would wait and pray and then be inspired by the Holy Spirit to give.
Over the years I’ve also talked to so many people who’ve joined us sending Bibles. A recurring comment has always been, “I wish I could do more…” By now you know that this year you really can!

Another thing you can do is tell people! Tell people about this site…I did that at ‘meet the teacher’ last night…easy! If you know people who’ve joined us in the past…tell them. If you know people you think might find it in their hearts to join us now…tell them!
One thing that hasn’t changed in all the years that Scott has taken these trips is the need. Well, it has changed actually, it’s grown. That’s a good thing really. It’s a need we can meet. I never participated while you were on the radio, though I “meant to” every single year. I’m hoping to make up for that oversight this year. I’ve already sent this information to 20 or so friends and colleagues and am getting very encouraging responses back – from Houston, San Antonio, Baton Rouge and beyond. I have a funny feeling about this year’s campaign… Let’s watch what HE does!
