4am Worship in the Jungle

I don’t know how they know it’s 4am without any electricity…but in this little jungle village on the Island of Mindoro in the Philippines, they worship at 4am every day.

We were sleeping in bamboo huts with no walls…and when the sounded the bell at 3:50 and again at 4am (jungle snooze button, I guess), we walked in the rain and mud to the little hut they call a church.
