  1. Hi Scott & Lauren!

I just found you guy back on the radio today–yay!! I’ve so missed both of you. Congrats on your new show.

Quick comment–I just listened to your discussion about co-sleeping. Respectfully, I disagree with what you were saying. I’ve raised my 4 kids with co-sleeping when they were young (up to past toddlerhood), and it was a great experience. They’ve turned out to be happy & well-adjusted kids. I know what the AAP says about co-sleeping, but you are right, most of those statistics are based on careless parents, or parents who were drinking or taking drugs. When co-sleeping is done responsibly, so much research shows its extreme benefits, not just for the mom, but for the baby. Respected pediation William Sears has books on this topic, and respected professionals like him fully support co-sleeping. Mothering Magazine has done several articles on this topic & support responsible co-sleeping. Also, a main benefit of co-sleeping has to do with breastfeeding, which is much easier at night, and better for sleep for both mom & baby (and dad!) with co-sleeping. Take it from an experienced mom, co-sleeping is a great thing!

Take good care & God bless you two!

    All my best,
    Kris Ludwinski
