a teachable moment…

We’ve been visiting family in the Pacific Northwest.

One of my kids has been curious lately about the ‘cost of living.’  It’s a hard concept to get if you’re not the one who’s paying the mortgage, pumping the gas, etc.

As the two of us left the grocery store the other day with $84 worth of groceries…in two bags…we had a little lesson on the cost of living.

Count your blessings today if you’re buying groceries in Dallas/Fort Worth.
